Right-wing political commentator Tim Pool said his home was involved in a late-night gunfire attack.
In an X post on Saturday, Dec. 6, Pool wrote, “Last night, a vehicle approached our property and opened fire.” (Pool lives in Harpers Ferry, W.Va.)
Detailing that “no one was hurt,” the podcast host — who is married to producer Alison Neubauer — continued, “Our security team is reviewing the incident and will be relaying the report to appropriate law enforcement.”

“This is the price we pay for speaking out against evil,” Pool concluded his social media post.
In another, Pool added, “My immediate thoughts is someone was trying to scare us. But we have a security gate and armed guards and its possible this deterred something more serious.”
Representatives for Pool and the Harpers Ferry Police Department (HFPD) did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment and more information about the incident on Dec. 6.
Pool first rose to fame in 2011 for his livestreams surrounding the Occupy Wall Street protests.
He shares his views on various political topics — from vaccines and immigration to the media — online, and has supported Donald Trump through numerous presidential elections over the years.

Pool was met with support from various right-leaning allies in the comments section of his X post about the Friday, Dec. 5. incident.
“This is awful, Tim. I’m so sorry this happened. Things are getting out of control and it’s happening more frequently. Praying for your safety,” wrote Megyn Kelly.
Added Marjorie Taylor Greene in her own post: “This is terrifying. I’m glad everyone is ok. Everyone must stand together against this type of political violence and intimidation. No matter who it happens to. Whether you like them or not.”
The shooting incident at Pool’s residence marks the latest in a series of politically centered attacks in 2025.
Back in September, Charlie Kirk, a media personality who founded conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA, died at age 31 after he was shot during a campus event at Utah Valley University.
Months earlier, in June, a man pretending to be law enforcement shot two Democratic politicians and their spouses overnight in the Minnesota suburbs, killing one couple, Rep. Melissa Hortman and Mark Hortman, and injuring the other, Sen. John Hoffman and Yvette Hoffman.
