The final month of 2025 has arrived, and the top movies on Netflix are an eclectic mix of films.

What caught our eye this week were a trio of underrated flicks that have already become streaming hits despite their lackluster box office results in theaters.

Watch With Us selected three of Netflix’s most popular movies that you need to watch because these are the ones you should enjoy the most.

And if you’ve never seen them before, it’s going to be a fun week of movie nights from the comfort of your home.

Thanksgiving isn’t the only place to feast on stuff that’s good for you. Netflix just added even more movies this month, with several Oscar contenders, a cult comedy and an underrated superhero movie. Train Dreams and Nouvelle Vague should be at the top of any film fan’s watchlist, while Game Night with Jason Bateman and […]

‘Dog’ (2022)

Channing Tatum‘s Dog was released in theaters near Valentine’s Day in 2022. Although this film seems more appropriate for Veterans Day, that date wasn’t entirely inappropriate. There is a love story at the heart of this movie, it’s just not the romantic love story you’d find in the middle of February. Instead, Tatum’s Jackson Briggs finds himself bonding with his late friend’s military dog, Lulu.

Because Lulu has been unable to shake her violent wartime training, she’s scheduled to be euthanized after Jackson escorts her to the funeral of his friend on the other side of the country. In some ways, Lulu is a lot like Jackson himself and is unable to adjust to civilian life. He wasn’t planning on bonding with the dog, but once the connection is made, there’s no way that Jackson is ever going to let Lulu be put down.

‘Caught Stealing’ (2025)

If there’s a takeaway from director Darren Aronofsky‘s darkly funny crime thriller Caught Stealing, it’s that it never pays to be a good neighbor. Hank Thompson (Austin Butler)  is asked by Russ Miner (Matt Smith) to look after his cat during his trip out of town. And the next thing Hank knows, his own life is endangered when the criminal underworld descends on Russ’ place to locate the massive amount of money he stole.

Since Hank doesn’t know anything about Russ’ hiding place for the money, he’s forced to endure torture and heartbreak for something he can’t even give up. Hank can’t even count on Detective Elise Roman (Regina King) to save his life from the criminals pursuing the cash, since she’s as dirty as they are. Fighting may not be Hank’s strong suit, but he’s running out of options fast, and he just wants to go home and resume his life.

‘The Island’ (2005)

You could uncharitably describe The Island as the unholy fusion of Michael Bay‘s over-the-top style and producer Steven Spielberg‘s sci-fi sensibilities, but we’d save that description for their Transformers movies. The Island is actually a pretty fun sci-fi action movie, thanks in no small part to the charisma of its two leads, Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson.

At some point in the not-so distant future, Lincoln Six Echo (McGregor) and Jordan Two Delta (Johansson) live in an isolated community where the residents are unaware that they’re clones who are meant to be used for spare parts by the wealthy. When they discover the truth, Lincoln and Jordan stage a daring escape. But they don’t belong in the outside world, and the odds are stacked against them as they try to expose everything that’s been done to their people.
