Billie Eilish’s 3D Concert Film Coming In March

The 3D Billie Eilish concert film she began work on this summer with TerminatorTitantic and Avatar director James Cameron has a name and release date. HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR (LIVE IN 3D) will arrive March 20 from Paramount, Darkroom Records, Interscope Films and Lightstorm Entertainment and was filmed at four shows in Manchester, England, in July.

”This is one of my favorite tours everrrrrr and being able to capture it and co-direct this film with [Cameron] has truly been a dream come true,” Eilish said on Instagram last night (Nov. 23) following the San Francisco finale of the tour. “Can’t wait for you all to see it.”

In July, Eilish tipped off Manchester fans that there were “more cameras than usual” in the arena thanks to Cameron’s presence and that “I’ll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row.”

Eilish previously pulled back the curtain on her career in the 2021 R.J. Cutler-directed film Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry and teamed with Netflix for the same year’s concert film Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles.

The artist’s song “Wildflower” is nominated for both Record and Song of the Year at the upcoming Grammy Awards, which will be handed out Feb. 2.
