** The Lumineers, The Chicks, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Trampled by Turtles, Built To Spill, Robert Randolph and The Head and The Heart will all be on hand for the second Zootown Music Festival, which will be held June 19-20 at the Missoula Fairgrounds in Missoula, Mt. Tickets can be obtained starting Friday (Nov. 21).

The Chicks have not played in Montana in more than 20 years (their single “Wide Open Spaces” was written by Susan Gibson while studying forestry at the University of Montana), and more than 60% of the lineup has never performed in the state before. Zootown is also selling half- or full-day excursions before and after the festival for biking, rafting, fishing and river tubing in the nearby area.

** Mötley Crüe will salute the 25th anniversary of their Carnival of Sins tour by updating its look and feel for a 2026 amphitheater outing dubbed The Return of the Carnival of Sins. Shows get underway July 17 outside Pittsburgh and will boast opening sets from Tesla and Extreme. “This new show is for the Crüeheads who’ve been with us through it all and for the new Crüeheads who didn’t get to experience Carnival of Sins last time around,” the band says.

Mötley Crüe are also turning back the clock on their hits-packed 1985 album Theatre of Pain, which is out now in a 40th anniversary edition featuring a previously unreleased concert from the era, rare demos and a 76-page hardcover book.
