The Festival de Musique Émergente en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (FME) returns for its 23rd edition, featuring a handpicked lineup of artists with bold sounds and innovative approaches.

From local headliners to rising stars—and a standout international selection with exclusive performances—FME promises over 80 shows across Rouyn-Noranda’s concert halls and offbeat venues, delivering endless discoveries for music lovers.

Celebrated for spotlighting both francophone and anglophone talent, the festival takes place in the small mining town of Rouyn-Noranda, about 625 kilometers (389 miles) northwest of Montreal, Canada.

This year’s roster features hyperpop artist Virginie B, folk-rock artist ALICE, indie rock and Americana artist Ada Lea, rock/pop-punk band Poolgirl, pop/art experimentalist N Nao, psychedelic electropop duo Wizaard, and many more.

Spanning four days and a mix of venues—from The Paramount, Fin De Soirée, Scène Fizz, and Cabaret de la Dernière Chance to smaller gems like L’Abstracto and Le Polonais—FME blends the town’s quaint charm with the electrifying creativity of its performers, creating a festival experience that’s truly unforgettable.
